About Me.

I am an enthusiastic and committed learner and regularly complete additional training to improve my knowledge and skills and ensure best practice within my work and the service I offer to my clients.

I have always found work that allows me to offer help others most rewarding and fulfilling. I feel privileged to have been able to support people through some of their darkest times and see them come through their difficulties with increased hope and compassion for themselves.

My work experience prior to counselling saw me working for a charity supporting adults who had suffered childhood abuse. I also studied mental health nursing for two years and supported people with chronic and acute mental illness in hospital and community settings. During my counselling training, I worked with people with a life limiting illness and volunteered for a national bereavement charity. I currently provide counselling services for an EAP and SilverCloud Online CBT supporter alongside my private practice.
